A little about my art:

I view photography as a form of visual poetry, a way to communicate emotions, stories, and ideas that transcend words. Photography is a reflection of the world as I see it through my lens. Rooted in the idea that I photograph what I see, and print what I felt at the time, I strive to create thought-provoking images that challenge perceptions and spark curiosity. Aiming to infuse my photographs with a sense of depth, texture and atmosphere, I print my images in-house on artist canvas. This allows me to control my vision, pushing the boundaries between paint and pixel to create surreal, fanciful or provocative works of art.

Through my photography, I aim to create pieces that spark conversation and elevate any home or office space with a touch of the extraordinary.

A little about me:

After graduating from Fresno State University with a degree in Vocational Education, emphasis in Photography and Graphic Design, I taught Fine Arts at the high school and college level for thirty four years, and was the owner of a portrait photography studio for many years as well. My work has been featured at Blue Line Gallery in Roseville, CA and several other private gallery shows. My photography has been accepted into the prestigious Crocker Kingsley exhibition multiple times. As an avid traveler, I am especially drawn to the ancient murals and faded street art that tell the stories of different cultures and eras. I also seek unique moments that celebrate the beauty and complexity of contemporary life, both in the United States and abroad. In addition to photography, I am a skilled woodworker, and an accomplished home designer/contractor, having designed and renovated at least a dozen homes.
